No Smart Building is complete without automatic doors or an automatic gate.

Doors and gates play the biggest role in the security of a building and are also the greatest weakness in the security of a building. Unlocked or not fully closed doors or gates can lead to unwanted access that can lead to theft or put the building personnel at risk. With the use of smart building technology, you can automatically lock the door or have it alert you when a door is not fully closed.

With our user interface, you can use security cameras that can be seen in real-time if someone is at the door, so you can lock and unlock the door. Our user interface can be set up with multiple users and permission levels that can set up to control everything or have one user that controls only the front door and only can see with one camera. User privileges can be set up to see or control what you decide.

A big part of any intelligent building automation is IoT sensors on doors and inside or a sudden rise in temperature to tell the system to turn off the HVAC systems in that zone. By doing this will increase energy efficiency. Automatic doors can work with our Access Control to limit who you want in. Our Access Control can also be used with automatic rollup doors or automatic gates. Our system can be made to be touchless to eliminate access codes and keys. Pin code boxes can be elevated with extended RFID readers or remote door openers to allow access and ease for truck drivers.

Any gate, door, or rollup door can be made to be smart. No need to buy new doors to be automated, by using smart door lock features we can make any door a smart door. We can use existing rollup doors even if they have no motor or use only a pull chain to close. Adding a motor to existing roll-up doors is a lot less then most people think. Depending on the size cost can range from $1,000 to $4,500, not including the cost to run power to the unit which shouldn't be too much since most units use 110volts. Our system works with and gate motor that uses a remote, pad exit or has a push button to open or close. This includes close to 99% of gates that are in use today.

Automation isn't just for air conditioning or lights, every aspect of a building can be automated to increase comfort and security.
